Composer Ludwig Göransson Rumored To Score Pixar’s ‘Turning Red’

Turning Red, Pixar Animation Studios’ newest original film, is currently under production. While there isn’t much information about the project, a recent listing on IMDBPro claims an award-winning composer is set to score the film.

The Mandalorian composer Ludwig Göransson has been tapped to score Turning Red, according to IMDBPro. This is in no way a confirmation that this is going to happen, but it’s still a fun rumor to share and should be treated as such.

The film introduces Mei Lee, a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which for a teenager is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda!

Turning Red is directed by Academy Award winner Domee Shi and produced by Lindsey Collins. It is scheduled to release in theaters on March 11, 2022.
