For the next month, Marvel is on a brief hiatus until Loki arrives on Disney+ on June 9. Following the series, Marvel will return to the big screen in almost two years on July 9 with Black Widow.
While this will be Scarlett Johansson’s first solo movie for the ever-growing franchise, it seems like there is a lot more to this movie than meets the eye!
Marvel Studios and its actors have begun full-on promotion for the upcoming film, Black Widow. We got a series of new character posters with one of them featuring David Harbour’s Red Guardian. Harbour took to Instagram and revealed the inclusion of several more classic Russian Heroes as well as the Russian Avengers and the Winter Guard:
“Ursa, Yelena, Nat, CD, Sputnik, I and all the rest of the winter guard look forward to sharing a popcorn bag and a big ole screen in a dark theater with ya on July 9.”
Although no mention of the Winter Guard has been made in any of the Black Widow promotional materials, Marvel and its team have a way of dropping subtle hints about what’s to come.
In the meantime, let’s break down the reveals and what’s possibly coming to Marvel’s Black Widow!
