Since January’s tease that a remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was in the works, fans have been anxious to hear more about what’s next for the fan-favorite Star Wars game. Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier then teased that fans would “never guess” what developer was remaking the game — until now.

It was speculated that Aspyr Media was developing the remake with Schreier responding “Hmm!”

Aspyr Media isn’t a stranger to the Star Wars universe. Over the years, they’re known for porting several classic Star Wars games. In an interview with MinnMax’s Ben Hanson, Schreier confirmed that the studio is developing a remake of KOTOR:

“That’s true, yeah. This is public at this point. I mean, I basically confirmed that Aspyr, which is a company that has ported a bunch of KOTOR games, is working on a remake.”

Oddly enough, Aspyr Media has yet to officially confirm a Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake.
